Difficulty

Effortless

Effortless is widely recognized as the entry-level starting point in nearly all Difficulty Chart Obbies. The design philosophy of an Effortless difficulty is simple: allow any player, regardless of platform, framerate, or familiarity with Roblox movement mechanics, to make forward progress without failing. Or to put it simply, nearly everyone on Earth should be able to complete an Effortless stage with minimal effort (or no effort). That's where it gets its name!

Characteristics

Because it guarantees an easy barrier to entry, Effortless stages will rarely feature fatal obstacles beneath the player, and often boast generously wide platforms, sometimes even with invisible guardrails.

Common Obstacles

  • Standard Jumps: Regular jumps with normal distances that do not require building momentum.
  • Spaced Studs: Large 4x4 or 3x3 stud blocks placed consecutively.
  • Ramps: Sloped or wedged platforms bridging gaps.

If a player is failing an Effortless jump, it strongly implies an unintentional physics block or a structural flaw by the creator rather than an intentional challenge.
